Hugo Kohl is a jewelry designer and manufacturer specializing in period vintage and filigree jewelry, with a captivating backstory. All of his jewelry is crafted from machines and tools salvaged from vanishing Industrial Age jewelry factories and he is now putting them back into production. After several creative vision meetings, Watermark recommended the following brand development steps to prepare for their national debut:

Logo Refresh

Refresh and update the existing logo, to better align with the goals of the business.

Schuyler Greens focuses on growing only the finest quality microgreens, salad mixes, lettuce  & herbs hydroponically in a high tech, climate controlled greenhouse. Schuyler came to Watermark to elevate and redefine their packaging to better convey the quality and care that each container delivers, mixed with their unique growth process.

Beginning our exploration, we kept multiple goals in mind:

1. Develop a system that would easily display which greens consumers are buying.

Storied Goods came to us with highly developed artisanal food products that needed to be branded and packaged for retail & distribution. Watermark was challenged with developing a brand that seamlessly combined the Great Smoky Mountains, a history in Denmark, and Southern culture. The idea that food brings family, friends, or strangers together to savor and celebrate, and sometimes share a story or two, is an overarching theme for this brand.

1. The Dieline featured both Jake Busching Wines & Wheelhouse Canned Cocktails : ANY time you get on the Dieline – the leading international blog for packaging design and branding – is a time to celebrate, but twice in 2 months was an honor.

We are excited to announce that Watermark is featured in the 2017 PRINT Regional Design Annual. Judged by the most esteemed graphic design professionals, from Jessica Hische to Ellen Lupton and Aaron Draplin, we could not be more proud to have been selected to be featured amongst such amazing work by amazing designers across the US.

Code Red was a passion project that we took on pro-bono, because we saw it as a worthwhile cause working to solve a gaping need.
