Over the last 15 years, Darcey has grown Watermark Design into an award-winning branding and package design studio, serving businesses nationally, and gathering accolades from The Dieline, HOW and PRINT Magazines, Harper’s Spirits in the UK, and the San Francisco Chronicle, among others. Watermark’s specialization in the alcoholic beverage category was born from Darcey’s personal love of wine, and has since expanded into the craft beer & spirits industries. Darcey’s time prior to founding Watermark was spent as the design lead within marketing groups in industries from law to biotech and hospitality. Her background in marketing shapes Watermark’s approach to design, considering not only the aesthetics, but also the sales and strategy needs important to the long-term success of the brand. Darcey holds a BFA in graphic design from James Madison University.

Sue joined the Watermark team in February of 2019. Prior to joining Watermark, Sue had worked with many national and international clients, managing the production of their photography and design projects from concept to delivery. She lives in the details of every project and loves building the ever-evolving relationship between the client and the design team. Prior to her days in NY, Sue studied Advertising and Psychology at Boston University where she received her B.S. in Mass Communications. Now in Charlottesville, she is focused on contributing to the growing success of Watermark Design.

Rebekah has helped Watermark clients develop award-winning branding and packaging work across beverage categories and also loves a good layout project, designing publications for Universities and other non-bev clients. With a knack for unique, big picture concepts and the skill set to bring those ideas to life, Rebekah helps keep Watermark’s client projects top-shelf. A graduate of Virginia Tech’s Design program, Rebekah brings a passion for graphics, typography and layout to the Watermark team.

With a love for experimentation, collaboration, and big picture conceptualization Becca enjoys working with the Watermark team to find unique design solutions that allow products and brands to stand out amongst their competitors. Continuing to build on her skillsets she developed at Virginia Tech, she also explores other areas of design as the field evolves, including digital marketing, animation, and artificial intelligence, and how these tools can impact a brand’s success.
