Job Role: Junior Graphic Designer

Full-time Position. Fully remote, though East Coast/EST is ideal, must reside in the US. (Headquartered in Charlottesville, VA – required gatherings at least once a year)

We offer branding, packaging and illustration services for craft beverage and other premium brands. We might be smaller in a small town, but our work isn’t. We are looking for a qualified graphic designer to join our team. We look for team members who want to find a long-term home in which they can develop and grow. We are a small studio with a family atmosphere. Our studio is located in Charlottesville, in the heart of the mountains, but we are very close to Richmond and DC for city days.

Responsibilities:

• Design award-winning work
• Meet time and budget requirements
• Work through design problems and develop solutions
• Good Communication and Collaboration within team and with Art Director

Requirements:

• Expert within Adobe suite, esp. Illustrator and InDesign
• Experience in Design either through a degree or program, ability to step into work day one
• Experience in Procreate
• Illustration and/or hand-lettering skills are a plus
• Knowledge of printing processes, options and requirements are desired, but not required
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Detail-oriented and thorough
• Great communication skills, ability to work well within a team atmosphere, good work ethic, positive attitude
• Responsive on Slack, must be online and reachable during work hours
• Speed is an asset
• Ability to work under pressure, change direction when required and work on a range of client projects at the same time
• Passion for design

Salary:

• $42,000/yr
